In February 2024, Fortum announced that it had signed a planning reservation agreement comprising marketing, zoning and grid connection support with the municipality of Nurmijärvi for a data centre site in Sudentulli. Now, Fortum has signed a development agreement (SSDA) with DayOne and will continue the work initiated in 2024.
