The latest plan to ship Russian Arctic gas to market? A nuclear-powered submarine tanker

The proposed submarine tankers would be twice as big as today's largest submarines.

Shipping Arctic natural gas to market underneath the sea ice north of Siberia in a nuclear-powered submarine tanker might prove cheaper than crushing through that ice, according to a new concept study.
