Media Advisory – Minister of Infrastructure and Communities to make an announcement about funding for the North

IQALUIT, NU, Aug. 3, 2021 /CNW/ – The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities of Canada, on behalf of the Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, and the Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, the Honourable Bernadette Jordan, will make an announcement about funding for the North. The Honourable David Akeeagok, Deputy Premier, Minister of Economic Development and Transportation, Government of Nunavut, PJ Akeeagok, President, Qikiqtani Inuit Association, and Natan Obed, President, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, will also make remarks.
