🇩🇰 Seed Capital closes Fund V with €130 million to back founders across the Nordics
September 7, 2026
More than 20 years in Denmark. Now, we’re setting footprints across the Nordics.
We’ve closed Seed Capital Fund V with €130M to back remarkable founders.
Over twenty years ago we started backing founders in Denmark. With Fund V, we’re taking our expertise and fund model to the broader Nordics and will be backing 15-17 Seed stage companies across FinTech, Cybersecurity and Resilience, and AI-driven B2B.
It’s no coincidence that we are taking on these particular verticals and expanding our search across the border. With a team and community of experts, we are backing the founders that are:
- Reinventing financial infrastructure
- Enhancing cybersecurity and resilience
- Transforming SMB and enterprises
“Broadening into the Nordics is a natural move for us and it’s been important for us to get the right team, with strong expertise and global mindset. Together with Geeta Schmidt and Lars Andersen, we have formed a partner team with both company building and venture growth expertise, with the goal of scaling them globally. This is also reflected in what we’re looking for in the founders we back, founders building global winners,” says Christian Broendum.
None of this happens without the LPs who back us: Realdania, EIFO, Dansk Vækst Kapital, Sampension, Lauritzen Fonden, Augustinus Fonden, family offices and angels. Thank you for your trust.
We’ve already made our first Fund V investments, among them Norlix, Blackbird Coffee, Fortiv, Moxso, Pluto Markets, Cernel, Repodo and Oplane, and there’s more to come.
