Sweden’s Lundin Energy invests in new Barents oil project

The company will boost its share in the Wisting license from 10 percent to 35 percent with the acquisition of OMV's stake.

The Swedish oil company Lundin and its Norwegian subsidiary Lundin Energy Norway is increasing its ownership in the Wisting project in Norway’s Barents Sea from 10 percent to 35 percent as it buys out OMV.
