Russia’s Arctic coast loses 7,000 hectares a year due to climate change

A new study from Moscow State University quantifies the loss.

The Russian State Commission for the Development of the Arctic has pointed to a new study which estimates that approximately 7,000 hectares (about 17,000 acres) of land are washed out to the sea annually because of climate change.
