Norwegian and Russian cod fleets will see a 20 percent cut in Barents Sea quotas

But even the reduced numbers are among the highest quotas ever.

The Norwegian-Russian Joint Fishery Commission has set 2022 cod quotas for the Barents Sea at a total of 708,480 tons, of which 321,605 will be Norway’s share.
