Iceland nearly elected a woman-majority parliament

The country has ranked the most gender-equal country in the world in a World Economic Forum report for 12 consecutive years.

COPENHAGEN — Iceland looked to have elected a woman-majority parliament but a recount of votes on Sunday showed there will still be more men than women in the chamber, state broadcaster RUV reported.
