Gas from Gazprom’s major new project might be stranded in the Arctic

With friction between the EU and Russia over the latter's invasion of Ukraine, gas from the Kharasavey could be stranded before the project comes on line.

There has been a big buzz in a remote area of Yamal tundra since construction work on Gazpronm’s Kharasavey natural gas field was officially launched in March 2019.
