Work on a Russian trans-Arctic fiber optic cable starts this spring

The cable will eventually link Murmansk and Vladivostok.

With a construction permit granted, work is set to begin on a fiber optic cable planned to run along Russia’s entire Arctic coastline, from Murmansk to Vladivostok.
