Five Eyes alliance urged to forge ties with Greenland to secure minerals

Some two-thirds of the companies that hold mining licenses in Greenland already have ties to nations in the alliance, said the Polar Research and Policy Initiative.

LONDON — The intelligence sharing alliance known as Five Eyes should forge ties with Greenland to boost supplies of critical minerals and cut dependence on China, a think tank said on Thursday.
