Nornickel must pay €1.62 billion for a huge Arctic oil spill

A Norilsk Nickel subsidiary must pay a fine of 146.18 billion rubles (€1.62 billion) for environmental damage caused by a massive fuel spill in the Russian Arctic last spring.
