Svalbard’s entire expedition cruise season could be in jeopardy
On Monday, Norway said its ban on most international visitors would extend until August 20.
The 2020 summer cruise season, from June to August, was supposed to be an all-time high for expedition cruising to Norway’s Svalbard archipelago, some of the busiest waters for high-end tourism in the circumpolar Arctic.
