Russia protests after Norway detains trawler near Svalbard

Moscow and Olso have clashed over Svalbard disagreements in recent years, including about the fishery protection zone where the trawler was detained.

MOSCOW/OSLO — Russia on Friday said it had filed a protest to Oslo after Norwegian Coast Guard officials detained a Russian trawler near Svalbard earlier this month.
