A giant Christmas theme park in northern Finland aims to attract 10 million visitors to the Arctic annually

The massive Republic of Santa Claus theme park would require about €1 billion in investment and employ about 10,000 workers.

Plans for the Republic of Santa Claus theme park north of Rovaniemi include a giant transparent dome with round-the-year artificial snowfall and northern lights, gingerbread houses, a tall Christmas tree-shaped hotel and the world’s biggest sauna village.
