Saami Council says Arctic rail link will have major negative consequences for reindeer husbandry

A railway connecting Rovaniemi in Finland to the Arctic Ocean port of Kirkenes in Norway will affect the income and existence of the reindeer herding communities in the entire area, the Saami Council says.
