Norway considers whether to ask US to extend Marines’ presence
About 330 U.S. Marines have been in the country since 2017 and are set to remain through the end of 2018. Norway now says that stay could be extended.

Norway’s foreign minister said her government was discussing whether to ask Washington to extend the stay of U.S. Marines in the country, a presence that has irked neighbouring Russia.
